CMSMT specializes in training and preparing students for licensure in the field of basic therapeutic massage techniques. The curriculum is full time consisting of 3 five hour days or 4 three hour evenings per week. This is an intensive eight / ten month commitment. The prospective student must be prepared to fulfill 100% of the time set forth as this is a requirement of the State of Maine. Upon completion of this program, the graduate will receive a diploma and will qualify for a Massage Therapy License from Maine and Florida. Graduates are invited to sit for the National Exam as well. Our basic mission is to inspire our students to develop their natural ability to encompass the mind, body, and spirit connection and to heighten the community’s awareness of the therapeutic integrity of the human touch. Directions to the CareerCenter
From the North: Take Rt. 202 into Lewiston. Upon approaching business district, watch for Marden's on the right hand side of Rt. 202. One hundred feet beyond Marden's, go under railroad overpass, immediately turn left onto Mollison Way. We are the 1st building on the right - clearly visible.
From the South: Take Exit 80 off the Maine Turnpike. This will put you on Lisbon St. in Lewiston. Continue on Lisbon St. for approximately 1 1/2 miles until you come to an intersection with Main St. Main St. is Rt. 202. Turn right. You will be going north on Rt. 202. Continue for approximately 2 miles. Look for a large sign reading "The Fairgrounds at Mollison Way". Turn right onto Mollison Way. We are the 1st building on the right.
