CRITICAL INFORMATION: Unemployment Systems Unavailable Nov 30 Bookmark and Share

ReEmployME, the new online unemployment filing system, is going live! ReEmployME is the easiest way to file your Weekly Certifications (currently known as Weekly Claims) and work searches. Here?s what you need to know about the transition:

Prepare for the Transition ? Beginning November 30, 2017

  • The current filing systems will be down at 4:00 p.m. on November 30, 2017 through ReEmployME?s launch

  • The current website and phone filing systems will be unavailable during this period

  • Claims for the week ending November 25 must be filed before 4:00 p.m. on Nov. 30

  • Direct deposit and MAP/EPC card benefit payment for that week should appear within 48 hours of processing

  • We anticipate you can start filing through ReEmployME on December 6, 2017

  • Claims for the week ending December 2 can be filed after ReEmployME's launch

After ReEmployME Launch ? Expected December 6, 2017

  • You will need to create an account on this new system to file your claims

  • Visit www.maine.gov/reemployme to create your account (this address will be live once it launches)

  • If you need help creating your account, call 207-623-6765 between 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. to speak with a Technical Support Representative

  • For help filing your claim or to get information about a current claim, call 1-800-593-7660 between 8:00 a.m. and 12:30 p.m.

  • For claims filed within the first few weeks after December 6, direct deposit and MAP/EPC card benefit payment should appear within 3 days of processing
