SPRINGVALE - The York County CareerCenter, located at 9 Bodwell Court in Springvale, continues its workshop programs for job seekers and those considering training to upgrade their skills and increase their employability.
"I urge those looking for careers in this tight labor market to visit any CareerCenter," stated Governor Paul R. LePage. "They provide resources and services that will assist you in improving your resume and preparing for job interviews."
CareerCenters can assist businesses by offering workshops on location, at local businesses or other organizations at no cost. The following workshops and programs will be held at the CareerCenter in Springvale unless otherwise noted.
Essentials of College Planning Workshop - Mondays, August 13, 20 and 27, 10 a.m. to 12 noon
A FREE interactive workshop that outlines the four steps in the college process: admissions, financial aid, career planning, and study skills. The workshop lasts approximately two to three hours. Resume & Interview Coaching - Tuesday, August 21, 9 a.m. to 12 noon
